Myott's Forget Me Not Tablescape

I was really excited recently to read an article in the Washington Post about vintage dinnerware making a comeback (Here). I love old dinnerware - the "granny" style is my favorite - the more  flowery the better. So it seemed natural to set this week's table with Myott's sweet "Forget Me Not" dinnerware. Pat wanted to keep it simple and old fashion.....

Even the flatware is sweet - "April" silverplate by Rogers & Sons

Pat decided on crystal napkin rings so it would not detract from the place setting

Remember this pattern? "Esprit" from Princess House crystal parties years ago

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Place Mats and matching Napkins - from Gottschalk's (a local department store long out of business)
Dinnerware - "Forget Me Not" by Myott from the Discovery Shop (the Cancer Society's thrift store) and Replacements
Glassware - "Esprit" by Princess House from house parties years ago
Flatware - "April" by Rogers & Son from eBay
Crystal Napkin Rings - from our Mother
Centerpiece China - "Edme" by Wedgwood from eBay, Replacements, gifts
Blue Candles - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local gift and kitchen boutique)

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  2. This is so sweet, it really tugs at my heartstrings as my sorority symbols were forget me nots and ivy. The silverware is so pretty and delicate looking, it complements the dinnerware pattern perfectly! I would love for you to stop by and share at Celebrate Your Story if you have a sec.
