Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles Tablescape

This week's table proves that you can set an affordable formal table using a limited budget, great thrift store finds, and "borrowing skill." Pat loves to use thrift store buys and super discounted pieces to create an inexpensive table that looks good and delights any dinner crowd.

Dinnerware is "Old Britain Castles" by Johnson Brothers. We won it on eBay when no one else bid on it - shipping cost more than the dinnerware. Pat placed one of the cups at this place setting so you can see what it looks like.

The sterling silver flatware is "Grand Colonial" by Wallace - it was free...….a gift from our dear sweet cousin Trev (who also suffers from the family dish addiction "problem")

Pat pulled out one of the unused goblets that still had the tags on it. The glass had been reduced three times before she would buy it...…..

The silver bowl was found in a dumpster of a restaurant that had gone out of business

Pat found the silver candle holders at a local antique/gadget store
