Lunch at the Diner with Betty Tablescape

Pat had fun with this week's table. Most people know that I collect Betty Boop figurines - and Pat has wanted to use some of the "Diner" Betty's for a long time. Here is the table that she set:

Flatware is primastone "Decision" by Noritake

Pat wrapped a white and a black napkin around the bright red charger by Waechtersbach

I never drink colas so I had no idea how much two six packs cost. HOLY COW! Then add the CRV...this isn't just cola. It's liquid gold (albeit full of sugar, chemicals, and who knows what other caustic and corrosive junk that's in it......)

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Black Place Mat - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Red Charger - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Replacements
Dinnerware - "Coco Cola Diner" by Gibson from a local antique store
White Tumbler - from Pier 1 years ago
Black Coffee Mug - from World Market several years ago
Black Flatware - "Decision" primastone by Noritake from eBay
Bread/Butter Plate - "White" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Glass Sugar Dispenser and Salt/Pepper Shakers - from the Dollar Store

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:

  2. Loved the tablescape. The coke can be used for cleaning! Goggle it. It also is used to clean car engines!
