Fiestaware Winter Time Tablescape

I know "climate change" is not a particularly exciting topic, but here in sunny California, we are having record cold weather - 25 to 30 degrees weather days on end when normally it is 50-55 degrees. We've gone through record drought during the last four years and currently, this season, we are 10 inches over "normal" rainfall. Then add lots of hardly ever seen snow, hail storms, and huge mud and rock slides throughout the county. What a wild ride!!! Throw in a couple 5.5 and 6.9 earthquakes, and you've got some really wacky stuff  happening - and this was just in December.

So, because of all this,  Pat decided to set a "more calming"  table celebrating our Winter. Here's what she came up with:

Although the picture is a bit "washout," this is Fiesta "Evergreen" (2007-2009)

Pat filled the centerpiece with small pieces of wood

Pat found these fabulous wood and metal reindeer at Tuesday Morning two year ago

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Twig Placemats - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond last year
Flatware -  "Woodland" by Cambridge from Tuesday Morning two or three years ago
Glassware - from the Dollar Store (still available)
Dinner and Bread/Butter Plate - "Evergreen" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Salad/Accent Plate - "Log Cabin" by David Carter Brown for Sakura from eBay and Replacements
Hemstitch Napkins - from Pier 1 over the years
Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Marigold Candles, Greenery, Pinecones - from Michael's
Wooden Reindeer - a gift from Pat
Glass Centerpiece - from TJMaxx last year

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:

  5. Can someone email as to how to get the new tablescapes in my inbox when they happen. I can't seem to find a sign up place here to get them. I love doing tablescapes for myself. No one ever comes but I like to look at them.
    Thanks
