Black and Sunflower Yellow Fiesta Table

Pat's daughter was here this weekend to attend her Dad's Birthday party that Pat throws every year. Before she left, Jennifer spent some time at my house playing with dishes. Since her favorite dishware pattern is "Fiesta" by Homer Laughlin, she, naturally, set the table using it.
The table is a blend of Fiesta simplicity and the elegance of silver and black stemware

Much like her Mother, Jennifer loves this pattern and chose it because of its simple lines and elegance. It's "Image" by Spode.

Where it came from:
Yellow Hemstitch Placemats - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Black Charger - "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from eBay and Replacements
Dinnerware - Black and Sunflower "Fiesta" by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Kohl's
Glassware - "Jet Black" by Artland from Target (mail order) and years ago
Flatware - "Image" by Spode from Tuesday Morning
Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Candle Holders - from our collection
Candles and Silk Roses - from Michael's
Vase - inexpensive glass vase from a thrift store spray painted black

  2. Beautiful table! Beautiful color combo and dishes too....Christine

  3. Simple and elegant! Those wine glasses...:) Thanks for sharing and linking up at Dishing It & Digging It!

  4. Black and yellow is such a crisp combination, and it also reminds me of happy things like bumblebees and sunflowers! Very nice table! Linda

  5. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Jennifer's table is elegant and such a striking color combination! Love the napkins as well. Thank you for sharing! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
