Golden Wedding Anniversary Tablescape

Pat set this week's table to celebrate a Golden Wedding Anniversary (not her own yet, but soon enough.....) She chose one of our Mother's Armani figurines as the inspiration and went from there. Using only two basic colors, the table is set with gold and white.

The dinnerware  is called "Coquette" by Lenox and was produced from 1962 through 1976. The ornate swirled pattern is actually bronzy, brown colored roses on ivory with gold trim but looks perfect with the simple color theme.  Pat added lots of silk baby white roses complete with a bridal bouquet.

The place setting

Love this gold plated flatware - unknown pattern by F.B. Rogers

Pat used double chargers - this one is "Mansfield" by Lenox (they actually belong to my niece - she hasn't asked for them back.........and I'm getting old and forgetful........)

The place setting sits on a gold leaf charger

Glassware is "Marquis" by Waterford

The Armani figurine is almost a foot tall but then Pat raised in several more inches and lined the stand with gold glass rocks

Then she flanked each side of the table with these white silk rose arrangements

Of course, Pat had to add a bridal bouquet
Small individual flower arrangement were made in leaf-lined "mini coupes" from Pier 1 Tasting Party series

Pat has several different pairs of these double candle holders - this is one of her favorites

One last look from the other end of the table

  1. Oh, Ladies, this is one of my favorite tablescapes that you have created (and that's saying something!). It's just so romantic, simple and elegant. And the added touches of the lovely figurine centerpiece and silk roses make it perfect for the occasion. Bravo! Rosie @ the Magic Hutch
