Autumn Harvest Tablescape 2025

Pat set this week's table for a simple, quick family dinner. Nothing special or unique - just easy-to-access dinnerware, flatware, and glassware put together with a centerpiece made from autumn vegetables found in my refrigerator and pantry. Of course, the "vegetable candles" (a gift from our great-niece, Maya) set the inspiration for the centerpiece.

The copper "hammered" flatware is by Hampton Forge from Horchow.
The accent plates are ironstone "Harvest Village" from Pier 1
Last week, Pat used the salad plate to this pattern - "Spice Route Clove" from Pier 1
I promise this napkin was ironed - but I took the picture much later in the day after the table was set.

Another Autumn Tablescape 2025

With Christmas right around the corner (and my favorite holiday of the year), Pat wanted to set a few more Fall tablescapes. This week's table features another Johnson Brothers seasonal pattern - "Autumn Monarch." mixed with a Fiesta(ware) "Paprika" chop plate used as one of the chargers and an assortment of pieces from Pier 1.
Pat used the quintessential Autumn colors for the table: browns, golds, oranges, and greens.

Obligatory Halloween Tablescape

Obligatory: Binding in law or conscience. Mandatory. Required.
So sets the tone of this week's tablescape. I do not like Halloween. Never really did - even as a child. Everybody, and I mean everybody else around me loves it. Usually, I don't really care what Pat (and sometimes her daughter when she is on the coast for a visit, and now our great niece, Maya) want to feature on the table. But, since the table we set every week is at my house (where I have to look at it all the time), and left for a few days until I can take pictures and write up the blog, I whined and begged for just one week of Halloween this year. And since no one wanted to listen to my whining and grumbling. they gave in. So this is the week:
