Black and Gold Tablescape

This week's table is a bit different from our usual weekly scapes. First of all, it was designed by our Great-niece who recently moved back to Northern California from Washington D.C., and also, it is set for only six people. 

The sleek, modern gold flatware is a recent find from Amazon

These amber crackle goblet were one of our first purchases from Pier 1 when the store opened in our area. Sure do miss it........

All the black Depression glass is a gift from our late Cousin. It was produced by the L.E. Smith Glass Company.

222 Fifth Coastal Life Tablescape

This week's table is set with one of our casual patterns - appropriately named "Coastal Life" (my home town sits on the beautiful coast of very Northern California.)  

Flatware is "Musee" by Reed & Barton

Pat used just a simple water glass and pilsner for the glassware.

Birds of America Tablescape

It's been ten or eleven years since we last used our National Audubon Society "Birds of America" accent/luncheon plates produced by Alfred Meakin so Pat thought it was about time to pull them out of storage and set a table featuring these unique floral rimmed plates with a series of different birds.

The flatware is dark green "Sophia" by Hampton Forge Ltd. Company

Pier 1 produced these plates in several colors - this one is "Spice Route" ginger

The charger is a "Sage" Fiesta(ware) chop plate by Homer Laughlin

The glasses are Amber "Meadow" from Pier 1

Teal "Eliza" Formal Tablescape

Time for a more formal tablescape so Pat chose teal "Eliza" by 222 Fifth for the dinnerware on this week's table.

For a simple and quick centerpiece Pat used a gold basket filled with teal and gold balls
