Summer Garden Tablescape

Pat and I spent Sunday morning selling plants at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Plant Sale, and I must confess, we were our best customers. So, we decided to do a table about gardening (since we will be spending the rest of the week planting the flowers that we bought in our yards.)
Over view of the table

The place setting

Flatware is "Montana" by Gourmet Settings - it adds a rustic touch to the place setting

First layer of the place setting is this huge sage green charger from Tabletops Unlimited. Pat and I found them at the American Cancer Society's "Discovery Shop" for $1.00 each.

For the next layer, Pat added Paprika Fiesta Dinner plates

Then she topped the Dinner Plate with an Ivory Fiesta Salad Plate

Last layer is a Pfaltzgraff "Naturewood" salad/accent plate

Simple, over sized glassware

Pat found these very, very old napkins of mine and thought they added more texture

This grand old metal watering can was given to me by a dear friend after her 94 year old father passed away several years ago. He had it for ages......I treasure it.

One last look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:

Accent Salad Plate - "Naturewood" by Pfaltzgraff from their Web site
Water Goblet - Dollar Store
Champagne Flute - "Bubbles Galore" by Maxwell Williams from Tuesday Morning
Napkins - years and years old........
Vintage Watering Can - Gift from my friend Sue

  1. I love all the mixing and matching that is going on here, and the centerpiece is perfect for a summer table. I have a little collection of sprinkler cans which I so enjoy using on the table.
