Relay for Life Tablescape

It is the annual Humboldt County Relay for Life this Saturday and Sunday at College of the Redwoods. Last year, Pat designed a table to honor all survivors of cancer. [ http://thewelcomedguest.blogspot.com/2012/07/purple-is-special-color-this-weekend.html] She wanted to do another one this year. Here's what she came up with:
Over view of the table. Color theme is purple (for survivors) and yellow (for celebration.)

The place setting - the plate and the placemat are really a soft yellow. Sorry, it is very overcast today.

First layer of the place setting is this soft yellow (really) salad plate from Pier 1

Next layer is a Plum colored Fiesta Dinner plate by Homer Laughlin

Flatware is our favorite - Image by Spode. Sleek. Smooth. Elegant.

Purple napkin - sorry, we did not have the right color in a butterfly napkin ring, so we used this one.

We recently got this glassware from Replacements - by Spiegelau.

Candle holders are from Pat's personal collection.

Purple votive holders are from Bed, Bath, and Beyond

One last look at the table from the other end

Ralph (the frog) thanks Pat's husband for making the sign......(we do, too.)
Where is came from:
White Tablecloth - gift from Pat
Yellow Placemats - Kohl's last year
Plum Fiesta Dinner Plates - borrowed from Pat's daughter, Jennifer
Plum Fiesta Bread/Butter Plates - from Replacements
Yellow Butterfly Accent Plates - Pier 1
Purple Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Rings - Pier 1
Glassware - by Spiegelau from Replacements
Flatware - Image by Spode from Tuesday Morning
Candle Holders - from Pat's personal collection
Purple Votive Holders - Bed, Bath, and Beyond
