Fireman Santa Tablescape

My sister has a wicked sense of humor - I say it often, so this week's table is no surprise. It's one of her "usual offbeat and hilarious" tables using a set of dishes that we bought several years ago. I chuckle every time I look at it.
Now this is a fun table.....complete with fire engines and "flame" napkins

Flatware is Noritake's "Decision" Primastone

No fire "call out" is complete without a fire hydrant nearby

A note to the family: Yes, that big box in the background is another order of dishes from Replacements. Don't have a coronary........it's going to be OK. I still have a little space left in the garage rafters.......

From the other end of the table

Originally, the table had a traditional Christmas tree........but not for long....not really Pat's "style"
Where it came from:
Red Chargers - "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from Replacements
Spotted Dinnerware - "Kate" from Pier 1 several years ago
Bread/Butter Plate - Black "Fiesta(ware)" by Homer Laughlin from Replacements
Glassware - "Jet Black" by Artland from Target (mail order - not in the store)
Flatware - "Decision" Primastone by Noritake (1973-1977) from eBay
Flame Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Santas - from our collection
Fire Trucks - from Ross over the years
Greenery - from Michael's
Fire Hydrant - from Toscano's (mail order catalog) two years ago

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. I love this table, but where is the Dalmatian dog? The spots are there, but the dog is not! After all, if you have the fire hydrant, surely it needs a dog, and only a Dalmatian will do! Of course, I do happen to be a very biased Dalmatian lover...

  3. What an enchanting tablescape. On of my favorites of the week. So happy, whimsical and charming. You have an amazing plate stack! Just perfect for all the centerpiece items. Love it all!

  4. Absolutely darling. With those precious plates, you don't even need the Dalmatian to ride on the truck! Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay
