We know most tablescapers do not like "sampler" tables - you know the ones with a different dish pattern at each place setting. Well, I love them (Pat not as much,) but never do them as often as we would like. However, this week is a different story. I am having some of my dish cupboards and dish storage areas "remodeled" (more like shelves added and "beef-up a bit" to hold more dishes.) I had to move several hundred dishes along with a large curio filled with place settings so the carpenter could work. I just stacked some of the individual place settings on the table that normally stays set, but I also had to clear it so we could be moved it out of the way temporarily. Bottom line, the table was full of individual place settings of assorted patterns......so to make a long story short, this week's table makes lemonade out of lemons, so to speak....

In all fairness to me, and so that you don't think I am absolutely dish nutty, the carpenter is actually here to fix the bathroom that was "destroyed" during an earthquake a few years ago. I asked him to remodel the shelves while he was at it.....
