Fiesta(ware) and Crayons Tablescape

As you can tell, Pat and I are not ready for Autumn yet. Here in Northern California, we are blessed to enjoy some of our best weather during late September and October. The weather is pleasantly warm, the wind is calm, the skies are clear, and "all is good with the world." So this week's table reflects that.....we are celebrating the beautiful weather with a very colorful table  - and one that Pat has wanted to do for a very long time.

Every place setting is set with a different color of "Fiesta" dinnerware

Flatware is inexpensive see-through acrylic by Cambridge from Ross years ago

Pat wanted to use a simple glassware pattern since the table is so colorful

Pat used an acrylic napkin ring - once again, to not draw attention. Notice the crayon napkins..... 

Candle holders are made from aluminum cans, hot glue, and crayons.......(and burned fingers.....)

What could be more lively that six different colored candles on the table?

Lenox Versailles Tablescape

Lenox Versailles (1977-1992) has been described as "opulent" and "extravagant" by some people, but to me, I think it is just gorgeous. I love it. Since it mixes well with many colors, it can be used in so many different ways and never gets boring.

The place setting....yes, slightly "over the top" gaudy, I know, but it's just perfect to me.

Flatware is "Antique Baroque" gold by Wallace Silversmith

There are so many colors to pull from....you can see why the pattern never gets boring.

One of Pat's favorite tricks....the first of two chargers - the "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) Chop plate adds color
