Casual Lenox Butterfly Meadow Tablescape

This week's table features my current everyday dinnerware - Butterfly Meadow - by Lenox. I started buying it nearly 25 years ago - first from Costco, then anytime I found it locally (which was rare) and now mostly from my go-to-place for all dishes, Replacements,Ltd. I prefer the classic collection over the styles that evolved during the following years.
Pat chose blue from the plates to accent the table - she used blue glassware, chargers, and napkin rings.

Celebrating An Upcoming Birth Tablescape

This week's table was designed by Pat's daughter when she was here visiting a few weeks ago. Not the typical "over the top" baby shower pink and blue kind of table with lots of flashy decorations, this table is colorful and lively but simple. Purple and yellow colors add a touch of uniqueness.

The lilac colored wicker placemats are from Pier 1. They started life as multicolored, rather ugly mats that the store could not sell. When they went on sale, I knew what I wanted to do - I bought them and spray painted them lilac and never looked back.

Crabless Crab Tablescape

Since both commercial and recreational dungeness crab seasons are closed along the coast of Northern California, no fresh crab is available, but Pat wanted to set this week's table to show our crab cocktail/small crab louie bowls off. She used colorful Scarlett and White Fiesta dinnerware to give the table a rustic and casual feel.
