Monotone Mid-Century Modern Tablescape

This week's table is a quite a change from the usual kind we do - Pat loves color and likes to use lots of it in her tablescapes (for example, together, we own over 25 different colors of Fiestaware just so we can "mix".) But the tablescape this time is basically tones of beige and brown - and not a piece of Fiestaware in sight.

Flatware is "Windsong" Silverplate by Nobility

The sepia colored china is from a German porcelain company called Heinrich & Co.

All the plates have this gray/brown flower design

I fell in love with the glassware - from Pier 1 (By the way, yes, that is a Christmas tree in the background - don't panic......I don't normally have the tree up this early, but with everything going on, I only had one weekend that help was available to come in to set it up. So, there it sits.)

Pat saw these candle holders at a local antique store for $16 a pair - she walked to the next antique store down the street and bought them there for $2.50

Veteran's Day Tablescape

This week's tablescape is a personal one for Pat and me. It's not really out of the ordinary or extravagant. It's just a simple but hopefully nice table that Pat did to commemorate all Veterans - especially our Dad. Like most Veterans returning from World War II, our Dad was proud of his time in service to America. Here's to you, Dad.

Pat chose simple flatware to carry the theme through - this is "King James" Silverplate by Oneida

First layer of the place setting is a small soup bowl with white liner

The salad plate is by Bormioli and matches the charger
