Independence Day Table

This week's table features one of Pat's "bargains" that she couldn't leave on the clearance rack.

Here's the plate that Pat bought from the sale rack at Pier 1 last year after July 4th

You can see why Pat was so excited about these accent plates.......she didn't like the "spotty" look but for the price.....

Pat used red, white, and blue vases and tea lights to add more interest

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning last year
Blue Charger - Royal Blue "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from eBay and Replacements.com
White Coup Dinner Plate and Bread/Butter Plate - "Home" from Target several years ago
Striped Accent Plate - from Pier 1 last year
Blue Goblets - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Flatware - by Cambridge from Ross
Red Napkins - Handmade by Pat
White Napkins - from TJMaxx
Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 two years ago
Star Votive Holders - from the Dollar Store (still available)
Assorted Colored Votives - from Michael's

We will be joining the following Blog parties this week:
"Dishing It! & Digging It!" at Rustic & Refined this Sunday:  http://www.rustic-refined.com/
"Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

For the actual dinner, here's what the table looked like with the flags removed and a soup tureen added.

  1. A lovely table. I especially liked your use of plaid and stripes. The fireworks napkin rings really set them off. Thanks for the inspiration.
