Not So Winter Blues Tablescape

With record cold temperatures hitting most of the country right now, our niece Maya wanted to "warm things up" a little by setting a fun table challenging herself to use mainly thrifted or sale items from our tablescaping shelves. (What you don't know is she and Pat absolutely love to go thrifting - rummage sales, thrift stores, second hand stores, and consignment stores - for "the thrill" of finding that special "treasure" - stuff I usually call "junk").

The wine themed accent plates by Royal Norfolk were $3.00 for twelve at a city wide rummage sale.

Glasses are "Madeira" by Franciscan - Pat paid one dollar a piece for them at a local thrift store
The flatware languished on the shelf for a very long time at Bed, Bath and Beyond before it went on sale at a deep discount (80% off). I took it home.....

Where it came from:
Wicker Charger Plates - from Pier 1 (on sale) years ago
Sage Green Wood Charger Plate - from Pier 1 years ago
Dinner, Luncheon, and Bread/Butter Plates - Vintage Cobalt and Mulberry Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacement.Ltd., eBay, and Kohl's
Wine Accent Plates - by Royal Norfolk from a local city wide rummage sale eight or nine years ago
Glassware - "Madeira" by Franciscan from a local thrift store (Tailwaggers - supporting a no-kill animal shelter) and from eBay
Flatware - "Pendulum" by Robert Welch from a closeout sale at Bed, Bath and Beyond years ago
Napkins - from Tuesday Morning just before they closed (of course, on sale)
Grapes, Greenery, Wooden Candle Holders, and Candles - from Michael's
Tabletop Wine Urns - from Pier 1 years ago (on sale)

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
