Seaside Summer Picnic Tablescape

What's more Summer than going to the beach for a seaside picnic? Here on the north coast of California, we have literally hundred of miles of sandy beach (along with miles of rocky cliffs if I was honest....) to enjoy the Summer sun. Pat set this week's table with that theme in mind.
As Pat said when she finished setting the table, the only thing missing is coats.....it is currently 53 degrees outside and very windy at 1:00 in the afternoon - a bit chilly for a picnic, I think......

Pat found these beach-themed melamine plates on sale at Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago

We have had these cute beach-chair place holders for years
Pat used the grass decoration on the plate as the inspiration for the centerpiece

  1. What a perfect summer table! I love the beach-themed plates, and the place card holders are darling. All the happy summer colors brought a smile to my face for sure. I do envy your 53 degree temps a bit, though, as it is HOT here today and no beach in sight. We're under a heat advisory as the temperature goes into the 90's and the humidity is up, too. I'm ready for fall weather but it won't get here for a couple more months. So thanks for sharing such a happy summer table today!
