Celebrating Fiesta(ware) in January

For those Fiesta(ware) fans, set your calendars for January 11, 2022. That is the date that the new 2022 color will be announced. Every year, there is always a lot of buzz about what the new color will be and what colors are being discontinued. Well, the Homer Laughlin Company has already discontinued the two colors as of October 31, 2021:  Cobalt [1986-2021] and Shamrock [2002-2021]. So, we are waiting - albeit very impatiently - for the announcement of this year's color which, sadly, won't be available until later in the Summer.

To celebrate, Pat has decided to set the table all this month featuring Fiesta(ware) - either alone or in combination with other dish patterns. The colors combine so well with each other making it easy to blend with all kinds of dishes.
Any table set with Fiesta(ware) is a treat for the eyes - lots and lots of color

The handmade place mats were the color inspiration

The colors are (from top to bottom): Sage, Periwinkle, Lapis, and White. They sit on a deep rust charger.

Pat kept the centerpiece simple since the place setting was so colorful.

  1. I won't miss cobalt, but I'm sorry about shamrock. There are a few colors that I would like to see brought back. Flamingo comes to mind.

  3. So very pretty. I especially like the darker blue and the same shade in the flowers, the placemats are gorgeous too.
