Springtime Bee Tablescape

On a whim, Pat pulled out our Pottery Barn "Bee" plates that we found several years ago on eBay and decided to do a Spring "Bee" tablescape this week.
With no rain predicted - just overcast skies and lots of cold, north winds - this bright and cheerful table brings lots of needed light to the room
The bread and butter plates are actually Fiesta(ware) appetizer plates. (Homer Laughlin stopped making bread and butter plates several years ago - much to my dismay since I collected them.)

Pat mixed all kinds of manufacturers: Mikasa charger, Waechtersbach dinner plate, Pottery Barn accent plate, Noritake flatware, Fiesta(ware) bread and butter plate, and Dansk water goblet
Flatware is "Decision" Primastone by Noritake
Pottery Barn made this plate in both green and in blue
The dinner plate is Lemon Peel Yellow "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach
Sorry the picture is a bit washed out but it is really dark outside this afternoon

The water goblet is "Rio Yellow" by Dansk

From the other end of the table

Where it came from:
Water Hyacinth Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Black Charger - "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from Replacements.com
Dinner Plate - Lemon Peel Yellow "Fun Factory" by Waechtersbach from eBay
Accent Plate - "Bee" by Pottery Barn from eBay
Flatware - "Decision" by Noritake from Replacements.com and eBay
Bread and Butter Plate - "Daffodil" Fiesta(ware) appetizer plate by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Glass - "Rio Yellow" by Dansk from Replacements.com
Hemstitch Yellow and Black Napkins - from Pier 1 several years ago
Bee Napkin Rings - from the Ferndale Emporium (a local store that used to sell really neat kitchen items)
Black Candle Holders - from Pier 1 four or five years ago
Yellow Candles - from Ross years ago

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. I love this table! Your bee plates are precious and you've highlighted them so well with all the accessories. I've lost my mojo for tablescaping right now, but I'm tempted to try a table and get back "into the game". Thanks for the inspiration, Ladies.

  3. What a cheerful table! I like those "bee" plates and how everything, although from different makers, goes together really well.
