Autumn is upon us and the weather is turning cold. Pat always sets a table this time of year using her "Mallard Quintessential Game" dinnerware by Queen's - many in her husband's family are avid duck hunters (much to my vegetarian heart's chagrin) and enjoy using these dishes for shared family meals. Since I store them at my house, and Covid-19 is preventing family gatherings, Pat decided to use them for this week's tablescape.
Napkins are placed under the setting so that the dinnerware shows upPat used two chargers - the extra larger wicker ones came from Costco years ago
Flatware is "Vault" by Gourmet Settings
The first charger is a "Sage" Fiesta(ware) chop plate
I can't believe how well these chargers have held up - they were really inexpensive
Glassware is "Lawrence" in olive green from Pier 1. They carried the same pattern in amber, also.
Pat used Fall greenery and picks for the centerpiece.
One last look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:

Oh, that transferware is lovely and just perfect for a fall table!
ReplyDeleteWOW. What a beautiful tablescape for Thanksgiving!!!!! It gives such a lovely feel of calm and mood. I really love your use of green, too. It's really stunning! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love this table. I don't have anything green, but this is so peaceful that it makes me wish I did. I find that I really like transferware patterns lately, too. So many colors to 'pick up' and accent with napkins, etc. My late sister-in-law loved and collected green glass and this brought back memories of a few holiday dinners in her home years ago. When she passed away, my brother did not wish to maintain all of her many collectibles and so items were distributed among family and friends. I have not seen her lovely green glasses and goblets for many years. I hope that we may all enjoy lovely Thanksgiving celebrations with pretty tables, even if our groups are a bit smaller than usual!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dishes!
