Another "Lemon" Tablescape

The title of last week's table inspired Pat to come up with this week's theme. Sunny lemon yellow is the perfect choice to help us through this rather dismal, depressing time - pandemic, fires, bad air, really weird dark red sky, heat waves, road closures, etc. It has been a truly unique week.....

So - Pat came up with a bright yellow and white table that makes me happy every time I look at it.
You can't be depressed when you look at this table.......

Pat and I found the individual covered soup bowls/tureens on a discount shelf for 98 cents each at Pier 1 five years ago

Flatware is "Primary" by Noritake

The accent/salad plate is from Pier 1 several years ago

"Daffodil" Fiesta(ware) Dinner Plate (active pattern from 2017)

Once again, Pat used a Fiesta(ware) Chop plate as the charger

Pat used simple tumblers ("Samba" by Libby) for glassware

  1. Love all of this. I really need to copy you and make napkin rings out of PVC pipe. As a fellow Californian affected by the smoke and fires, yes we need this. Thank you both!

  2. My, oh, my, Ladies, you hit it "Outta the ballpark" with this table!! Absolutely perfect for all the chaos we are experiencing right now. I was going to contact you just to see how things were up in No. CA. Down here in So. CA we have awful air and a red sun. I had one daughter who evacuated from Monrovia, but is now back at home with "warnings"; so it's not over yet. This table put a smile on my face: every component is PERFECT. Actually, the picture you chose to post with would make a great single photo to hang on a wall. Just a beautiful job and VERY appreciated.

  3. It certainly is a sunny, cheerful tablescape and I think every part of the country needs it right now. If we could figure out how to send some of the rain that has been pounding the Gulf coast, to put out those fires, we surely would!
