Easter Bunny Tablescape

I prefer the word "bunny" to the word "rabbit" - I don't know why - maybe it is just a cute word to describe a very cute animal. I looked up the origin of the word bunny once and found it may have come from the original word for rabbit - coney that was pronounced "cunny." [From Mental Floss: (Here)] Who really knows?

Anyway, somehow a bunny on a plate always warms your heart....

This plate is part of a set of four different bunnies

Here's another bunny - Pat only used these bunnies because they coordinated with the big bunny centerpiece.

The dinner plate is "Sunflower" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin

The charger is a "Periwinkle" Fiesta(ware) chop plate

Glassware is "Picardy" from Pier 1 several years ago.

Pat chose this style candle holder because it matched the glassware

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Yellow Place Mats - from Kohl's several years ago
Dinnerware - "Periwinkle" and "Sunflower" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Replacements.com
Bunny Accent Plates - from Pier 1 two years ago
Flatware - "Silver Tear" by Gourmet Settings from Bed, Bath, and Beyond three or four years ago
Glassware - "Picardy" from Pier 1 three or four years ago
Periwinkle Blue Napkins - from Gottschalks (a local department store now out of business)
Sisal Bunny Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 two years ago
Glass Candle Holders - from TJMaxx two or three years ago
Pastel Eggs - from the Dollar Tree
Large Sisal Centerpiece Bunny - from Pier 1 last year

  2. I love your bunny boy and the plates! Yellow and blue are perfect Easter hues!
I went nuts at Pier 1 and got several bunnies! My current table has a pink girl bunny and reclining boy bunny. I used a pink and blue themed Easter tablecloth. Easter is such a wonderful holiday!
