Fiestaware and Feathers Tablescape

This week's table is especially dear to Pat and me. Not only did Pat's daughter set it, she bought the accent dishes that reminded her of our Dad - her Granddad. He owned (or maybe the bird "owned" him is a better way to describe it) a beautiful white cockateel and they were always "best friends." It's a very sweet memory....

Also a bit of a dishaholic, Jennifer couldn't pass up the dishes when she saw them at Macy's recently and on sale. And of course, she paired them with her favorite dinnerware - Fiesta.
To add a touch of sophistication to an otherwise casual table, Jennifer used black stemmed goblets and black flatware

Flatware is "Meridian" by Cambridge

The Parrot accent plate is paired with a Fiesta(ware) "Sea Mist" dinner plate

The Cockateel accent plate is paired with an "Apricot" Fiesta(ware) dinner plate

The chargers are Black "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa

The black goblets are "Midnight Black" by Artland Glass Company

Of course, since she used accent plates that reminded her of her Grandfather, Jennifer had to add an Armani figurine from her Grandmother's collection
