Family Breakfast Table

This week's table was set just for family and fun. Using a set of "cereal" themed accent plates as the inspiration for a breakfast table, Pat pulled in colorful Fiesta(ware) in Turquoise, White, and Daffodil to go with it.

Flatware is "French Rooster" by Cuisinart

The cereal theme accent plates come in four different styles

This is a "White" Fiesta(ware) luncheon plate

Pat chose "Turquoise" as the predominate color - this is a Fiesta(ware) dinner plate

Pat used an old Depression Ware custard cup/sherbet as a juice glass

Yes, I know - salt is a bad habit but it seems our family can't break it......besides, this set from Fiesta(ware) is so cute.

Another look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Plaid Place Mats - from Tuesday Morning three or four years ago
Dinner Plates - "Turquoise" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Kohl's (still an active color)
Luncheon Plates - "White" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's (also still active and available)
Bread/Butter Plates - "Turquoise" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com (much to my dismay, Homer Laughlin does not produce bread/butter plates anymore)
Mugs and Salt/Pepper Shakers - "Daffodil" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's
Clear Glass Bowls - by Luminarc from Bed, Bath, and Beyond three or four years ago
Flatware - "French Rooster" by Cuisinart from Amazon last year
White Tumbler - from Pier 1 several years ago
Turquoise "Juice" Glass - by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from eBay
Marigold Hemstitch Napkins - from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond many years ago

  5. So few breakfast tablescapes are done that aren't hotel style coffee & tea. This is so great! Fab retro cereal plates!!! Do they make bowls too?
What a happy morning it would be to wake up at your house!!!! Wow!
And FYI, Queen Elizabeth 2 still eats corn flakes for breakfast.
