Honey Bee Table

My sister is truly amazing. Naturally, she is a wonderful wife and Mother. She's a terrific cook and hostess. She sews beautifully. She quilts. She gardens. She has won awards for her volunteering. She participates in marathon races. She has even been mayor of her town. And, of course, she designs and sets all of our tables. But this week, she has outdone herself. Pat and some of her exercise buddies are taking a few days vacation together to climb Mount Lassen (an extinct volcanic mountain that is over 10,000 feet high.) Yes, I said - climb a mountain. And did I mention that she will be 70 on her next birthday???? She never ceases to amaze me.....

Well, for those of us who prefer to stay "grounded," this week's table features one of Pat's "bargains." We walked into Pier 1 recently and found the dinner plates on the sale rack at an amazing price. And Pat can never resist a sale......
