Colorful and Fun Easter Table

Since we hope to participate in Cuisine Kathleen's 8th Annual St. Patrick's Day Blog Party next week, Pat wanted to "slip in" an early Easter table beforehand. Here's what she came up with:

The green "grass" placemats are actually cut from a new indoor/outdoor patio rug from Costco that Pat found. Her sweet husband cut it up into 16 placemats of two different sizes with enough for a runner down the center left over if we want.

Pat selected "Calypso" flatware with the round bead-like handles to match the glassware

First layer of the place setting is an egg-shaped plate from Pier 1 two or three years ago

Next is a "Rose" Fiesta luncheon plate

Once again, the true color of the "Sunshine" Fiesta dinner plate did not photograph well

One of my favorite chargers - from Maryland China Company

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
"Grass" Placemats - from Costco this year (Indoor/Outdoor carpet)
White Chargers - from Maryland China Company (mail order)
Flatware - "Calypso" by Towle from Pier 1
Yellow Dinner/Bread and Butter Plates - "Sunshine" Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Replacements.com
Pink Luncheon Plates - "Rose" Fiesta by Homer Laughlin from eBay and Replacements.com
Water Glasses - "Bayonne" from Pier 1 years ago
Pink Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Egg Cups - from Tuesday Morning
Marble Eggs - from Pat's collection
Candles, White Square Vases, and Silk Flowers - from Michael's
Sisal Bunny on Bike - from Pier 1 this year
