Pat started with a casual, family-friendly table this week after doing more formal tables the last few weeks, but she used blue and white as the inspiration. Using "Lapis" Fiesta dinner and salad plates, she set the table with our Mother's very old soup tureen and small white pitchers.

ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous table setting!! That ironstone soup tureen is definitely the star of the show. Now I'm torn between a blue & white table or another plaid table for next week.

ReplyDeleteWhere do you store all these dishes. I just finished-well, ALMOST...my kitchen and keep three sets of china and one large set of Fiesta in multicolors which is my daughters. In the dining room I keep my china that is in the cabinet and it is called Old Country Roses by Royal Albert. It is the longest continuously produced pattern in the world I believe. I have no more room. In fact the cupboards are jammed in the kitchen. I have tons of serving pieces too. My linens are jammed into a dresser separating the dining room from the sitting room. And another pantry cupboard is crammed full as are many cabinets. I am out of space. Perhaps my blog can contain photos of my storage when I am done putting away Christmas. Maybe someone can help me figure out how to store more efficiently.
