Wine Tasting Tablescape

Admittedly, Pat nor I drink much wine. However, wine is always served to guests. So, when Pat was given several bottles of wine as gifts, she decided they could be the basis for a beautiful tablescape and the beginning of a great party.

Pat selected an unusual colored candle for the table this week - it's called "Biscuit."

The place setting. Napkins and the bread/butter plates are marigold.

Pat gave each guest two wine glasses to start with.....

A small bottle of wine was given to each person as a favor. It also acted as the place card holder.

Flatware is a recent purchase - "Colonial Copper" from Horchow's

"Faux" grapes and grape vine were used to decorate the table

Pat's brother-in-law gave her this bottle of wine. It's so big that she decided to use it as the focal point.

  1. I like your wine tasting party idea. We always end up with bottles of wine given to us for the holidays but neither of us drink wine. This would be a fine was to use them and have a nice party too. I love the Italian dinnerware and the mini bottles of wine for party favors.
