This year, instead of featuring the beautiful pink in the roses, Pat emphasized the tiny blue flowers in the pattern,

This is just beautiful!! I love that the china is named Rose!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and romantic table. You are making me a fan of blue! and anyone that knows me....knows I adore purple. The Rose Dishes are truly treasures and I hope you get to ejoy them for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Christine
The two of you have certainly done your mother proud! What a beautiful way to remember her -- choosing a china pattern with her name. This is such a delicate and feminine table and is perfect for Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteI just love that you used china that reminds you of your mother. The cutwork on the napkins is really pretty. The roses are the perfect shade!!! And those blue candlesticks.. well just perfect. This table just tugs at my heart because of the loveliness of the tribute to your mom. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteThis table is set with such a sophisticated color palette! I adore the way you used the pinks and blues together. Wow - everything is just lovely! I guess most of us have some pieces of the Rose Chintz pattern. I own the accent dinner plates - all of your pieces are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo perfect! Everything pressed...no wrinkles...china beautifully coordinated with candlesticks, and other dishes. I love the way you layered the lace placemats and the napkins. The Roses...just the right color. Most of all, I appreciate the "lightbox" view...I can just click my arrow keys to see each picture a little larger, and really study the details of this gorgeous tablescape. I just said to hubby...if I ever see these Johnson Brothers Chintz dishes at an estate sale, I'm grabbing them! Thanks for sharing with us. My attempts at blogging have stopped dead again, after several false starts. This time, 2 tiny abandoned baby kittens, found behind my neighbor's air conditioner, are taking all my time. We're almost done with feedings every 2 hours, and I'm thankful they are growing and will survive. In the meantime, I'm enjoying seeing yours and everyone else's blogs.
ReplyDeleteYour table is stunning! I love the blue with your dishes. Your mom had to be smiling when she looked down & saw your beautiful table! What a tribute to her name. Ladies you out did yourselves....
ReplyDeleteBlessings My Friends,
So so pretty, I enjoyed seeing such a beautifully set traditional table with the gorgeous linens and china. Most of my things are very contemporary and brightly colored dishes so this was a real treat for me!
