Something Other Than Fourth of July Tablescape

I know it sounds unpatriotic but the 4th of July is not a favorite holiday for me. The crowds, the noise, the fireworks, just do not appeal to me. My animals are scared to death - even with medicine to calm them. Worst of all, the little shacks quickly assembled a few days before the 4th to sell fireworks that somehow do not get disassembled for days or weeks afterwards drive me crazy. Give me Easter or Christmas or almost any other holiday....please! So given that prejudice, Pat took pity on me and skipped the holiday altogether to set this week's tablescape.

Italian-themed plates are by Ceramica Cuore. They sit on Spode "Vermicelli" chargers

Glassware is "Midnight Rouge" by Artland

For the centerpiece, Pat used an old basket filled with real and faux grapes
Where it came from:
Reversible Leather-like Beige Place Mats - from Pier 1 years ago
Charger Plate - "Vermicelli" Yellow by Spode from eBay
Dinnerware - Pattern unknow but produced by Ceramica Cuore from Tuesday Morning several years ago
Flatware - "San Remo Red" by Hampton Silversmiths from Tuesday Morning ten or eleven years ago
Glassware - "Midnight Rouge" by Artland Glass from Target (mail order) years ago
Napkins - From Linentablecloth.com
Wooden Candle Holders and Candles - from Michael's

We will be joining Susan for "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch this Thursday: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/
