Frosty Springtime Tablescape

When Pat arrived to set the table this morning, she was lamenting about waking up to another day of frost. It seems that we're stuck in a Springtime cold spell for a while but it makes for an easy tablescaping idea. One of Lenox's more striking dish patterns is "Blue Frost." Our niece was here again and she and Pat both jumped at the chance to use this very attractive dinnerware on the table.

Flatware is super shiny and modern "Fluence" stainless steel by Oneida
Two napkins were used - an ice blue satin with a silvery sheer overlay

Pat found the silver chargers at the Cancer Society's Discovery Shop years ago

The glassware is called "Optic Twist" and is from Pier 1 nine or ten years ago

Where it came from:
Lace Table Mats - from Lentz Department Store (now "retired") years ago
Dinnerwaare - "Blue Frost" by Lenox from eBay and Replacements,Ltd.
Flatware - "Fluence" by Oneida Silver from Replacements,Ltd.
Charger - from the (Cancer Society) Discovery Shop years ago
Ice Blue Napkins - from Linentablecloth.com two or three years ago
Silver Overlay Napkin and Pearl Napkin Ring - from Pier 1 years ago
Glassware - "Optic Twist" from Pier 1 six or seven years ago
Silver Candles - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond

This week, we will be joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Between Naps on the Porch:  http://betweennapsontheporch.net/

  1. Oh I love everything about this table! What gorgeous soft colors! I woke up to frost this morning too, so it's perfect for my early spring mood. You've inspired me to see what kind of "frosty" table I can set at my house! Thanks, and stay warm out there!
