Bird Houses and Flowers Tablescape

After two weeks of more formal style tablescapes, Pat was ready to set a casual and fun table. She selected accent plates from Pier 1 as the inspiration to this colorful table:
Pat used four different dinner and bread/butter plates that color-coordinated with the accent plates

Flatware is the very popular "Napoleon Bee" stainless steel by Wallace

This dinner plate is "Lapis" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin

The dinner plate is "Daffodil" Fiesta(ware)

The dinner plate is "Scarlett" Fiesta(ware)
This dinner plate is "Claret" Fiesta(ware)

Each bird house has great detail

One last look from the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Place Mats - from Pier 1 two years ago
Green Charger - from Pier 1 three years ago (but still available)
Dinnerware - Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's and Kohl's
Accent Plates - from Pier 1 this year
Bread/Butter Plates - Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Replacements.com
Flatware - "Napoleon Bee" Stainless Steel by Wallace from Horchow's two or three years ago
Glassware - from the Dollar Tree (you can usually still find it there)

  1. This table just epitomizes summer! It makes me want to get out and putter in the garden right now. I especially love the overhead shot - it's like walking down a garden path.

  2. This is a super fun departure from the more formal tablescape! I love formal, but casual elegance is right up there in the "must have" departement with me, too!!! I like the variety for floral salad plates and different color dinner plates all tied together with the flatware and stemware.Such cute birdhouses, too!!! I really like the one with the look of a garden shed!

  3. Those Pottery Barn plates are so pretty, and I like how you used the various colors of Fiesta plates underneath them, all tied together with the green chargers. And what cute birdhouses to serve as centerpieces! This is a fun summer table.
