Rustic Winter Time Tablescape

Last week's table was a hope for better weather - it didn't happen. Today, it is pouring. Not just pouring, but really raining. And it is cold. (Yes, cold is relative. Here in our part of  "sunny California," anything below 40 degrees is considered cold.) This morning it was 31 degrees outside. Then it warmed up to 44 degrees only to bring rain. Lots of it. Another "fun" Winter in Humboldt County, California.

So, Pat set the table this week with power failures, mud slides, swollen rives, flooding, and road closures in mind.....a rustic table in darker tones with plenty of lanterns in case the lights go out.

Where it came from:
Plaid Placemats - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago
Rustic Charger - from Pier 1 last year
Dinner Plate - "Sage" Fiesta(ware) by Homer Laughlin from Macy's
Salad Plate - "Martillo Almond" from Pier 1 two or three years ago
Small Accent Plate - "Black" Fiesta(ware) Bread/Butter Plate from Replacements
Flatware - "Twist" by Gourmet Settings from TJMaxx last year
Glassware and Bread/Butter Plates - "Diamond Point" Olive Green by Indiana Glass Company from a local antique store
Black and Olive Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Rings - Inexpensive Wooden Curtain Rings spray painted taupe
Large Lantern - from Michael's two years ago
Small Lanterns - from Ross several years ago
