Father's Day Golf Tablescape

Father's Day is just around the corner, and Pat decided to set this week's table with a masculine twist. Although our Dad was not a golfer, I am sure he would have gotten a chuckle seeing this "manly" table (especially watching Pat try to shove delicate flowers into a punch bowl filled with golf balls and golf clubs - it was a riot. After a few choice "invectives," she decided on short stemmed silk flowers......)

Flatware is Pat's favorite - "Image" by Spode

Handmade napkin rings

Green "grass" placemats are actually indoor/outdoor carpet from Costco that Pat's husband cut for us

Notice that the wine glass has the same shape as the centerpiece bowl

Yes, it looks like the golf clubs are just stuck in amongst the golf balls, but actually, Pat asked her sweet husband to drill a thick piece of wood with holes so she could stick the ends safely into it and not damage her punch bowl.

Where it came from:
Green "Grass" Placemats - Indoor/Outdoor carpet from Costco cut into squares (by Pat's sweet husband - he got the week off last week - not so lucky this week.....)

Black Charger - "Color Spectrum" by Mikasa from Replacements
Red Dinner Plate - "Fun Factory" by Waeschtersbach from eBay and Replacements
Golf Ball Plates - "Game Plan" from Pottery Barn
Black Bread/Butter Plates - "Fiesta" by Homer Laughlin
Flatware - "Image" by Spode from Tuesday Morning
Napkins and Napkin Rings - Handmade by Pat
Black Water Goblets - from a local Rummage sale two years ago
Wine Goblets - from Pier 1 three or four years ago
Candle Holders - from Kohl's several years ago
