Sizzling Fiesta Tabletop

This week's table is nothing short of hot, bright, and sizzling. Pat decided to take some long abandoned placemats that were stored at the bottom of a drawer and use them as her inspiration for the table.

Flatware is inexpensive lime green Cambridge from Ross years ago

Top plate is a "Poppy" Fiesta salad plate

This is a "White" Fiesta luncheon plate

Dinner plate is "Lemongrass" Fiesta

The bright orange chargers are inexpensive lacquer chargers from Michael's spray painted with plastic adhesive spray paint

These long lost placemats provided the inspiration for the table

The napkin rings were found in the sale bin at Pier 1 two years ago

From the other end of the table
Where it came from:
Placemats - I have no idea......
Orange Charger - inexpensive lacquer chargers spray painted bright orange by Pat's dear husband
Fiesta Dinnerware - from Kohl's, Macy's, and Replacements.com
Glassware - "Moonlight" by Circleware from Marshall's (in Santa Rosa, CA)
Flatware - by Cambridge from Ross years ago
Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Rings - from Pier 1 two years ago
Candle Holders - from TJMaxx last year
White Centerpiece Bowl - by Westmoreland Glass from Art & Old Things (a local antique store in Fortuna)
Candles and Faux Fruit - from Michael's

  1. Great job, ladies! I love everything about this table, from the bright and white color combination, to the placemats, dishes, glassware, flatware, colorful napkin rings, and simple centerpiece. What a great way to greet the imminent return of summer (and I don't even like hot weather)!

  3. So glad Pat found those long lost placemats! Terrific colours in them and they've been replicated in the dishes and accessories perfectly. I especially love the fresh look of the apple and orange centerpiece - very creative!

  4. This might be one of my all time favorite table settings! I just love all the bright, citrus colors. It has a somewhat mid-century feeling to it, something you'd see in Better Homes & Gardens from the 1950's or 60's. What a fun table for a spring or summer brunch! Those 'rediscovered' placemats are wonderful!
