Shooting Ducks Vegetarian Style.....

As promised two weeks ago, Pat set the table this week with "people like me" in mind. No duck calls, no shot gun shells decorating the table (Here) - just cameras and binoculars to shoot ducks. Pat used the same dinnerware as before ["Quintessential Game" by Queen's China], but made it a bit more dressy and a lot more "animal friendly."

Last time, Pat used antique gold chargers - this time she used the matching antique silver chargers that she bought from Tuesday Morning.

Pat layered a Fiesta "Periwinkle" chop plate to add color (that she picked up from the plate). Flatware is ornate 20th Century Baroque by Godinger Silver.

The crystal water goblet is "Navarre" from Fostoria. Pat added a silver wine glass.

Using blue cellophane to simulate water, Pat added white net to soften the look.

  4. Gorgeous table! Love, love, love your plate stack. I also think your centerpiece is stunning. I also would have a vegetarian meal instead of duck. There are a lot around here and so friendly. I really enjoy them. Thanks, Valerie
