Orange Dots Easter Tablescape

Ever have one of those "senior moments" when the name of something is on the tip of your tongue but you can't remember it no matter what??? Well, it happened to Pat the other day. She was describing a tablescape that she had in mind but couldn't remember the name of the dish pattern - so she said to me, "You know, the one with the orange dots...." Uh, what? What orange dots, Pat? Well, here is the table - along with the dishes with the orange dots (turns out she meant the gorgeous Lenox Rutledge dinnerware with the beautiful fluted rim and yes, it does have some orange dots - albeit very small ones....only my sister would reference the orange dots when thinking of this pattern. Gotta love her......)

Oh, Pat, I think it's time for you to rewatch my favorite Youtube video again: Age-Activated Attention Deficit Disorder ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oHBG3ABUJU ) Enjoy, and have a laugh on me.
The "Orange Dot" Easter table - not your typical Easter color choice

The salad plate

Yes, we used this charger last week, but it's the perfect color for this week, too.

Pat found the glassware in Santa Rosa on her way back from San Francisco a couple years ago

I won't mention the "orange dots"......

Pat made the centerpiece using a bunny cake plate from Pier 1

She added small arrangements in these bunny "bowls"

Although not technically for votives, these egg holders work perfect

I love these salt and pepper shakers (from Pier 1 last year but still available)

Where it came from:
Melon Colored Chargers - "Color Moods" by J.D. Durand from Replacements
Dinnerware - "Rutledge" by Lenox from our collection (but many pieces replaced after an earthquake or two from Replacements and eBay)
Flatware - "Wind Song" silverplate by Nobility from eBay
Glassware - "Moonlight" by Circleware from Marshall's and TJMaxx
Orange Napkins - Handmade by Pat to match the charger
White Chiffon Overlay Napkin - gift from Pat years ago
Napkin Rings - from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Bunny Cake Stand and Flower Pots - from Pier 1 this year
Bunny Votive Holders - from Tuesday Morning
Bunny/Carrot Salt and Pepper Holders - from Pier 1 last year (but available this year, too)

  4. Orange is one of my favorite colors, and I think it is a delightful choice for an Easter table. I truly covet that orange glassware (and also your vivid yellow set from previous posts). I completely understand Pat's temporary memory loss, because it happens to me all the time. And that YouTube video describes my life perfectly -- it's a wonder I get anything done at all!

  6. A deep purple theme could go well on a table with this china too. Or sunny yellow. Lovely china!
