John Deere Tractor Tablescape

August is a super fun time in our community - the County Fair is in full swing - filled with horse races, lots of food, livestock contests, craft displays, and the ever popular tractor pulls. Naturally, this inspired Pat to set this week's table with our set of John Deere tractor accent plates.

Lenox Mandarin Tablescape

This week's table is quite a contrast from last week's colorful and whimsical one. Pat used formal Lenox "Mandarin" in soft muted colors and set a simple table so that the beautiful dishes could be the focus point.

Check It Out Tablescape

After over 73 years, Pat knows how to drive me bonkers. She knows I hate, I mean hate, plastic plates. So this week, she decided to use a set of "dinnerware" [I use the phrase very loosely....] that has been hidden in the back of my cupboard for years . And of course, when she was done, I loved the table. Yes, I swallowed my pride, ate some crow, bought the bullet, and any number of other "admitting one's mistakes" axioms and told her so.

Lenox Rutledge Tablescape

Switching to a more formal table this week, Pat used Lenox "Rutledge" and blue accents to set an elegant but simple tablescape.
After more than eighty years in production, Lenox retired "Rutledge" in 2020.
