What can be more appropriate for Spring than a bouquet of assorted colorful flowers as the centerpiece to a table? For this week's table, Pat used a flower-filled dinnerware pattern from Pier 1 called "Botanical Garden" and paired it with two small bouquets for a very bright and cheery tablescape. [FYI: Once again this year, due to a very dry Winter and Spring, we are not watering gardens. Therefore, fresh flowers are a luxury. We used silk....Water rationing is on the way.]
Pat started with purple place mats that she found at Pier 1 on sale years ago for $.49 each. I have had to eat crow many times over them - I made many derogatory and disparaging comments about how ugly I thought they were but they have looked perfect each time she has used them for a tablescape.Pat paired the "Botanical Garden" dinnerware with a "Mulberry" Fiesta(ware) appetizer plate that acts as a bread and butter plate.

Inexpensive green glassware from the Dollar Tree complements the purple color perfectly
