Meadow and Heather Tablescape

Talk about an odd but delightful combination! For this week's tablescape, Pat mixed Fiesta(ware) "Meadow" and Royal Doulton "Bell Heather." Her color inspiration was the floral pattern design on the plate.

While many people (especially younger ones) are no longer using a cup and saucer on the table or for that matter, at all, we love them. What better way to linger after a good meal than with some coffee served in a beautiful cup and saucer?

The Pier 1 glassware was chosen because of the ridges on the "bowl" of the goblet- it matches the rim of the dinnerware

Summer Pink and Gray Tablescape

The inspiration for this week's tablescape came from the pink and gray plaid place mats that Pat and I recently found at our soon-to-close-forever Tuesday Morning (yes, we just lost Pier 1 in February and now Tuesday Morning in August. It's a sad day......)

Flatware is one of my very favorites - "Pure" by Gourmet Settings. 

Dinnerware is from Pier 1 last year - we literally took it from Pat's cupboard to use on this week's table since it goes so well with the place mat.

The charger is "Rose" Color Spectrum by Mikasa

Another favorite of my - Pat used "Rosaline" glassware by Cristal d'Arques-Durand

Like last week's table, Pat kept the centerpiece simple and only used this extra large bowl

With the number of Covid-19 cases going up (instead of declining as we "open up") in our community, we are not sure how long we will be able to set tables, but for now, Pat came over and set another sweet table for the blog.

We found these unusual sage green colored glass chargers at Pier 1 three or four years ago

Glassware is Marquis "Omega" by Waterford

Pat often uses a vase alone without flowers as the centerpiece if it is distinctive or uncommon. This vase measures 15" wide by 9" tall.

The small crystal vase is actually a vodka shooter repurposed - "Dublin" by Godinger
