Seashell Christmas Table

The seaside, sand, and shells were the inspiration for this week's Christmas table. Pat used a Santa dressed in beautiful light blue velvet and white faux fur as the centerpiece and added fishing net, shells and white trees.

Shameless Self Promotion:  Pat and I are going to do our annual "Month Long Tablescape Celebration of Santa" this year on our other blog, Table For One (Here). We do it every year but do not always "publish" the results. We select a different Santa each day from our collection as the inspiration and set the table using different dishes, flatware, etc. We have lots of fun doing it and decided to share the results this year.

Edme Christmas Table

The Christmas season is my favorite time of the year - and I love it when Pat sets a holiday table. This week's table uses non traditional off white Wedgwood "Edme" and black - Pat pulled them together using an off white Santa with a touch of red for the centerpiece.

Autumn Table On a Budget

Pat challenged herself this week to do an attractive and serviceable Autumn table using only inexpensive dinnerware and accessories. Using everything that we have already used previously, she "redesigned" a Fall table:
The "budget" table

Flatware is "Sophia" by Hampton Forge. Pat found it on sale at Tuesday Morning several years ago.

We found this heavy dinnerware on sale at our local grocery store. The other colors sold out right away - no one wanted "Sage Green" - Pat saw the potential and loved the price......

Who doesn't love the Dollar Store green glasses???

Both the candles and the candle holders were purchased at "after Christmas" sales last year

More Dollar Store finds.....

Here's where it came from:
Placemats - by Benson Mills from Ross (found on the "sale" shelf - less than 50 cents each)
Sage Green Dinnerware - on sale at our local Supermarket (no pattern)
Glassware - from the Dollar Store
Pumpkin Colored Napkins - Handmade by Pat
Napkin Rings - PVC pipe cut into rounds and spray painted
Flatware - "Sophia" Dark Green by Hampton Forge on sale from Tuesday Morning
Glass Leaf Tea Light Holders - from the Dollar Store two years ago
Dark Green Glass Candle Holders - on the sale shelf at Pier 1 (around a dollar a piece - reduce several times)
Candles - from Michael's at the After Christmas sale last year
Centerpiece Vase - from a rummage sale (25 cents and then spray painted taupe)
